Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Get this guy a job at McKinsey!
Dude will end up with $100K after paying those gas fees
You beat me to it, I thought I was going to get to say this first.
No one will buy your random NFT for $200k (or any other amount) regardless of how much you sold it to yourself for
Ok nikhil, back to work please
Is that easier said than done? You could do the same thing with a house or a physical art piece, right? There must be a reason that isn't common.
It's difficult with a house or art piece, as your identity will be revealed during the transaction processes and people can sniff out the scam. In crypto, making an NFT is dirt cheap and the buyer/seller identity is never revealed. It's the perfect crime!

Why? NFTs are a small fraction of overall crypto market.

You can do this with stocks too.
1. Since when is art discounted? (Let alone 90%)
2. You would have to be a moron to be the second owner from a price like that
EY3 I wasnt implying that its moronic to buy NFTs. I'm saying theres a lot of knowledge required about how, when, where, what, and who when it comes to dealing with NFTs. Diving into this space head first is a sure fail (which is what many do, and thats the moronic part)
Yes, this is completely possible and easy to do with two separate wallets, which is why everyone needs to be very careful in the NFT space. You're asking to be scammed if you fall for something at this level and it happens all the time on smaller scales. When a piece from a garbage pfp project sells for a crazy multiple above the floor price, it screams of a self-purchase. It's just shameless promotion of the project and most don't fall for it. Don't be the one who does.
