I very soon am going to be unemployed (will be putting in my papers, am on bench so notice period will be around a week). My current stack is SQL, Python(Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn, Tensorflow, Pytorch), Tableau and Excel. I'm down for any opportunity in any organisation in Delhi-NCR, the only condition being that the learning curve at the job must be exponential. I just want to get better everyday at what I do and nothing else.

Best books for learning tactical business management, strategy, and growth? Looking for more meaty than "Playing to Win" - willing to read good textbooks. Have read plenty of leadership dev books.

Are most companies paying for you to learn new skills? When acquiring new skills are you mostly self taught? What are your best go to sites for learning animation or video skills? Trying to gauge the norm on expectations for new hires who need to know everything from print, web, video, social and animation. Can you do it all?

Will there be any career growth if we are into a product specific Business analyst?

I hate my job to the point where it is difficult to be productive, and I can barely get any work done (it’s like I have no energy). Am looking for a new role but who knows how long it will take for a final offer, and I don’t know if it would be right to quit my job and rest. I feel so burned out and trapped. I got an offer from Capgemini for Manager/C2 designation with a CTC of 24 LPA. I just wanted to know the roles and responsibilities at this designation.
Will it be a profile shift from technical to managerial position or is just a designation (as per HR) the actual job would be to lead/guide any team?

I’m working for an agency where Art Directors are essentially managers of designers. Art Directors are promoted from Senior Designer, we have no Junior Art Directors.

This hasn’t been my experience, I’m used to Art Directors and Designers having separate career paths. However, I’m trying to keep an open mind. Is this org structure familiar to to anyone else? If so, has it been effective? Thanks in advance!

Hello, I’m an associate (almost at the one year mark) at a midsize firm on the EPL team. I did about 2 years of employment law as a clerk during school and know that’s what I want to go into. I’ve asked for more EPL work but keep catching PI cases. I second-chaired an employment trial but don’t see any EPL work for the foreseeable future and wasn’t getting as much EPL exposure as I wanted before the trial. Any advice on a lateral move to a bigger firm with a broader range of EPL work?
