I find most people aren’t listing addresses on resumes anymore and as a hiring manager for remote positions I only care if they’re willing to work east coast hours. Unless you’re looking for a relocation package, don’t mention it and just move.
Thanks, that's good to know! I'm fine without a relocation package.
I don't have much experience with remote-only jobs & some of these are positions that I would've expected to be in-office preCOVID. (Others explicitly say temporarily remote.) So location might be a long-term factor for the employer? I'm finding some of these through a recruitment site that asks for your zipcode.
I may be overthinking this....
(PS sorry for the late reply, I didn't get an email notification for some reason. Very new at navigating this site.)

I dont quite understand the question. Why would an employer paying you to be remote care that you're an out of towner?
Temporarily remote with an expected return to office date several months down the line. Seems like a perfect situation for me since it gives me time to move, but I don't know if it'll look odd to them.
