It’s so fucking hard to make friends in SF.
Hello Guys,
I Got one Offer from Fynd but that is too low for me and as per my expereince
They are giving me 9 LPA bcz I quoted that amount when I applied for it long back. at that time I didnt know more about how salary and all calculated and whats the market research
Now after clearing all the rounds when we meet for salary discussion i told him my real desired salary as per experience and market reseach
He told me that I quoted 9 LPA so we can not do more "unless you have any counter offer"
Anyone at the Q center today/this week?

Smooth brain good for teck sale.
certifications in brands such as fortinet, aws, hpe, or others. Take courses of essentials cisco , etc
You don’t have to be a computer science major to move into tech sales. I’d argue that might actually hurt your prospects. Solid sales experience and the ability to pick up some new jargon are really the basis of what you need. Knowing somebody doesn’t hurt either.
More than anything, I’d recommend networking and getting to know people in sales. Having someone who can refer you often helps more than anything else. I have several friends in tech sales who had no prior experience—just the right connection to get their foot in the door.

You don’t need anything but a solid sales background.
If you like selling intangibles, go for I, myself was a manufacturers rep and people could actually see what they were buying. But intangibles, not for me.
