I have an immediate family member who works at Disney in Burbank as an admin. She is very much a Disney adult and absolutely loves working there. That said, the pay is terrible and she is supplemented in income from family as it’s expensive to live near her work.
Like I said, she’s very happy, but from what I can tell, the hours and culture seem very much “Must Sacrifice for the Mouse” and all the coworkers I’ve met seem to accept poor conditions to work for Disney.
If you really love Disney, it could work for you? Just don’t expect it to be an amazing job.
Thank you for sharing actual helpful advice!
My sibling works there in an office role not as a cast member at the park itself or anything and she deals with misogyny, racism, elitism, sexual harassment and gets paid lower than I’ve ever seen. She’s like you though, a “Disney adult” and she likes it. I visited her at work once and saw how they treated her and have never visited a Disney park again since. Good luck.
She seems to finally be coming around though and I hope she starts looking for something else soon. Maybe you can take her role 🫡

Bless her! I appreciate you sharing her story. It's great information to have! Thank you so much!
If you don't know how to drive in rain, probably not a good fit to work. Period.
