I'm all for it. You be the guinea pig and let the rest of us know how it goes.

Can’t live your life in fear. Go for it
i don think with a server going from table to table that kind of defeats the purpose. Maybe if you can pick it up from a counter or bar and take it to your table
lol i was thinking more shake shack style where they call your number and you pick it up, have that come out of a plexiglass opening to protect the workers and bring it back to your table then your golden
Some version of that will have to come into practice. Social distancing for ever just isn’t sustainable

Nope. If I were 25 or under I’d go. Otherwise nope.
I’m waiting 2-3 weeks after lockdown ends to see how things go. Wouldn’t be surprised if cases spike.

Former smoker with a pregnant wife and elderly parents and in laws. I’ll pass for a few weeks.
Yes, just don’t use the public bathroom. Pee at home.
Adult diapers back in style.
People are gonna complain regardless of what measures are put in place and cite that you want grandma to die, do what you want and use your best judgement

How does the food get to the table without breaking social distancing?
Shake Shack

I’d take the food home.

Totally safe. I’ve gone out a few times. Texas here.
It’s safe ish but not remotely profitable for a restaurateur. Doubt many will bother to open.
I don’t know a single restaurant in Texas that didn’t re-open at 25% capacity. So I think they will open in Florida.
Let us know in two weeks if it works. Brave pioneers like you will be needed to see if it makes sense to open up the economy now.
I mean, it’s pretty simple - if you dont stay home, you’re at risk of getting it.
Fine

It’s not safe but people are going to do it anyway.
I was in Florida in March (last time the 50% rule was in place) and considering how far apart the tables are in general, you will be more than 6 feet from others.
Yes.

There’s always a risk but I think it would be higher if you’re eating with someone from a different household versus yourself or someone in your own household.
I personally would get takeaway as I wouldn’t think the pros outweigh the cons.
