And my boss says, these generations are all lazy 😅

So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
The court of public opinion needs a mediator 😩

One does not go into industry to get skilled. You learn way more at a firm. Just apply to a specific data analytics role at a big firm. Big firms will more likely staff within the same area.
Coming up on 1 year at the firm
I did the same thing at KPMG and have now transferred permanently to D&A, though supporting audit. I went for a secondment then transitioned it to be full time - see if there are any internal secondment opps! Also, for some internal departments previous knowledge such as coding isn't usually a requirement as they'll train you on the job/send you on the relevant courses. However when applying externally these are usually required if not highly sought after. Not a roadblock as you can easily learn, but something to consider. Best of luck! If you have an analytical mindset it's great. I genuinely love every aspect of my job, and I still only work on audits (albeit in a different manner). Remote working whenever we want helps too!
