I was encouraged to “sit in” on meetings during pre-production (unpaid, of course) so I could be “exposed” to how things work and learn the ropes. Part of me feels like it’s a smart investment in my future, but part of me resents that my time isn’t being valued. It’s a lot of hours to just give away for free. Would you say yes and look at it as an opportunity?
