I will be joining a new firm at one level below a Partner/MD. For those who made it to the Partner/MD level, what would you advise someone if you were in my shoes to get to that level? What should be my strategy? What are the activities I should do and what shouldn’t I do?
Especially considering the current economic and AI environment.

Big 4 firms are extremely risk averse. It obviously depends on the infraction but this considerably decreases your viability as a candidate, especially if it is for inappropriate behavior or financial malfeasance.
