Deloitte MBA manager salary? S&A
Negotiating with EY for M/SM Tech Consulting. I have 15 years experience, skills are in demand and my interviews went extremely well. 1. What are the salary ranges for M and SM in NYC. 2. I am told it is only going to be a M now, for my own benefit-no EY network means failure at selling. Whats the highest salary I can negotiate at M. Any other tips will be handy. I have "sold" (support on sales & new roles through relationships) plus I have solid delivery experience. I really want SM 😀😀😀 EY

Yes
Thank you!
Yes any time that is requested and not an introduction / pitch is billable. My wife is an independent and only works on a day rate (10 hours) basis. It’s either on or off. Beyond ten hours is pro-rata, with a 50% overtime premium beyond 9pm or at weekends.
Wow. That seems like a pretty nice setup for your wife and good approach. With a minimum per day to save her from doing small increments.
The 10 hr per day chunk seems pretty big though vs 8hrs or even 4 hr increments. Has she gotten pushback for that?
I assume her clients are large corporations so likely wouldn't bat at it.
On a personal level working with an attorney, I was a bit taken back but it made sense in a way that if I emailed them they would bill in minimum increments. So if I sent a simple FYI email to them it would be 15mins which at their rate is $100... So I end up not sending. It's not worth their time to do admin work for my 5 min question/answer. And I can't afford that much and group all my simple things together to justify the minimum.
So seems like similar logic for your wife. But the increment is so big - bigger than a "normal" 8hr day.
Can either of you give a ballpark for hourly rate? And general level of experience? I’m considering going independent.
Mine is $85 and have a couple of years experience
