Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.
Appreciate your suggestions/input.
Would there be any scope of increment going forward?

Being excluded never feels good, even if there's good reason for it.

Out of curiosity, how does this requirement get defined? I can see a requirement like clearance being added to a project if sensitive information is central to the scope of work but why staff majority of project with people who are asked to leave the room for discussions?
Pro
Interesting, so this is probably just a communications/ expectation setting issue on the contractor’s side
Maybe project shouldn’t have staffed them if confendiality and citizenship is a concern . Nobody likes to be reminded every other day that “ you don’t belong to a privileged class “
Chief
Privileged class? Lol what? If I was working on a foreign client and they asked me to leave the room because I dont hold a security clearence for thay country, I'd say that's pretty reasonable?
Pro
Someone should be planning those meetings better so that information siloing doesn't require demonstrabling singling out and excluding people / a group of people.
Pro
It sound like your question is less "why are they feeling like that" and more "why haven't they stopped feeling like that and silently conformed to the way I want to run meetings"

Honestly OP sounds annoying - wouldn’t you get upset if people asks you to leave so many times in meetings?
Pro
OP I don’t think you’ve done anything wrong. But take some time to ask them why this truly bothers them and learn from that. And if it bothers them too much ask if they would rather leave the project. I do government work so this doesn’t bother me - I’ve had to leave meetings bc I didn’t have the appropriate clearance level before. But I am not on visa so I don’t know the other issues at play here and won’t pretend to speak on what I don’t know.

Why are they on this client if there’s sensitive information to citizen only?
I cannot understand whatever blob of text you just output

We had to tell foreign military to get out of the room when we discussed classified or FOUO information. Sometimes it be like it do.

Maybe they don’t understand why they were asked to leave?
Pro
OP I think you need to explain clearance stuff or why the info is considered protected. If you’re just explaining that you get to stay bc you’re a citizen, yeah they’d be offended.
It’s not fair for them to be completely excluded from a part of that project. Staffing should have been more careful when including them on the team. It’s no longer a team if a small group is excluded because of their nationality

The implication is that they are not to be trusted with the information which probably hurts.
It might be a good policy at the macro level, but understandably it can feel arbitrary.
No, the implication is that they do not have a need to know for that information given a classification of said information
This post/these interactions feel like a weird flex on OP’s part re: having a security clearance/certain accesses. Which probably sounds very odd to most ppl on here, but as a former deep stater myself, I can assure you it’s a very real thing.
