Qualified Dividends: I’m expecting $650-$750 qualified dividend in 2021. Salary and base about $250 total. Questions: what tax rate will the qualified dividend be taxed at? The 15% or 20%? I’m trying to transition full time into the Editorial realm, I have some experience, but I’ve had a very hard time getting full time work. So I’ve begun an online certificate program, in hopes it will give me a leg up, as my degree is in a different field. My question is has anyone done the same? And how do they feel it helped? Journalism is the best job in the world but I feel like people are less likely to take my work seriously because I am female. So it's like they automatically think the only things I would be good at writing about are fluffy little human interest stories. I'm just a reporter like everyone else. Is there some way I can tell my supervisor that yes, I do like those stories, but I like being a serious reporter even more?
