You definitely are not alone in feeling that way. I see posts in here all the time echoing exactly what you are saying.
I appreciate that.. sometimes it helps just to know others feel the same way. Do you think sharing that openly makes managers take it more seriously, or do they just see it as venting?
One of the things about the news business is that it never stops, there will always be things happening. And it's really just a matter of being diligent and giving stories the handling they deserve. Which isn't easy, a lot of things can get watered down just because we're moving fast and can't go into great depth. But perhaps someone else with more time or space to spare could take on those stories in a deeper dive.
That is such a fair point. Speed often strips nuance.
I feel like we have all reached the satuation point on information. News died with 24/7 coverage. Only so much a human brain can take
