I am an Automation tester with 9 years exp. What all should I focus for FAANG interview prep? Will the interview be different from that for Dev folks?

I’m currently interviewing with a few top 10 firms and a couple top 100 firms for a mostly remote experienced associate/new senior role. Does anyone have any tips on virtual interviews and how to gauge the culture of the firm and if it really will be a good fit for you? I’m struggling to figure out that out because I used to gauge it on the feeling I got while in their office during interviews. Any suggestions would be helpful :)

Is Salesforce on a hiring freeze for all positions? I feel like I still see postings for openings going up?

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you

I have got confirmation from CBA that I am selected and all the documents are submitted. On the website, my application status is showing as an offer. When can I expect the release of an offer letter. HR told me 3 days back he will be sending it by the EOD or next day but he is not responding after that..

Cleared two round of interviews in EY and I got a positive response from the interview panel and indeed the senior associate from Talent Team called me and asked me,if I could join within a month and I answered that it's an obligation to serve the notice period of two month.

The Talent Team said they will get back to me and I am still waiting for their response.

Hi! I am seeking for an advise, anything helps! I applied to Accenture’s entry level analyst program. I applied a few days ago (I know it’s a bit late, but the application is still open thankfully). Yesterday, I joined a resume workshop w/ an Accenture recruiter. She went through my resume and said that I have a strong one! I’ve also set up a coffee chat w/ her next week. Unfortunately, I got an email today from the system, they decided not to move forward :( Should I reach out to her abt this?

Interesting all the noise about these PPT, my take:

The pandemic took all the upside of an IB analyst life (client meetings in person, fancy trips, suit up, worshiped at networking events) and left all the juniors with the downside (long hours, monkey-like type of job, aggressive work environment).

Not that the complaints are not sort of legitimate but you may need to revise the decision-making process that led you to accept a return offer. Specially if you were looking for less hours.

Would tech ib (m&a) be more affected than say Healthcare/pharma ib in an economic downturn?
