Cash is typically the preferred admin gift. 500-1500 should do it

like

Depends - are you paying out of pocket or can you expense it?

like

No starbucks giftcards pls

like

As a former admin, cash is king. If the cash gift will get taxed, then a sizable Amex/visa gift card so that person can use it on whatever they want.

I give my personal business ones around $1500 in bonus for every property they manager and I give it between thanksgiving and Christmas so if they manage 3 and did a great job I’ll just round up and give that one 5k and if they have like10 properties I just give around $10k it is important to me that they share in a little bit of my profits

uplifting

I would say a nice gift card to a high-end restaurant, cash, a Amex/visa gift card, nice high-end bottle of wine/whiskey/bourbon (if they like that stuff).

I think the OP and assistant work for the same company - ethics rules on government contracts don’t apply since the OP isn’t giving a gift to a government employee.

A nice ring would be nice

Just give cash

Gender?

Cash is king!

What’s the common process for when a client offering you a job at the end of the project? Do you still have to go through interviews and stuffs like a normal application or the client would just send you an offer?
The client asked me to join their team, we talked about the position (no specific comp yet), and they asked for my resume. Just want to know what the common process is like in this situation, TIA.
