I couldn't agree more with it! Times have changed! There isn't loyalty anymore.
I completely agree with you. Companies these days prioritize their profits and shareholders over their employees, so if they're willing to drop you at a moment's notice, you might as well use that time to find a role that aligns with your interests and goals.
I totally understand where you're coming from. In today's job market, job security is becoming increasingly rare, and companies are more focused on maximizing their profits. So if a company is willing to drop you to maintain their profits, it's only wise to use them to pay your bills while you find a job that you genuinely love and will provide you with more stability in the long run.
I am currently doing that! Nothing wrong with it! I'm not their priority, so that they won't be my priority.
I always have this kind of mentality when I was just starting. I am not going to settle or less. I may be paid really low at the moment but this will be my bridge towards something greater and bigger.
I definitely agree with this - this experience has taught me that work doesn't always deserve 100% of your energy and it's okay if you're holding back
