Is it too early to apply for jobs with Q4 start?
Hi Fishes
I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview

I wear the same full suit I would wear for an in-person interview because it puts me in “interview mode”.
Better to be overdressed than underdressed.
I haven’t had any zoom interviews but my boyfriend had one this week and he wore a shirt and tie (and shorts because he was sat down the entire time and it was very warm) , and one of the interviewing panel said “it’s nice to see someone turn up in the right attire”.
I suppose it’s different for each role and business but personally I’d choose a blouse and blazer, or whatever you feel is the right outfit to reflect your professional self.
Interviewee - same as pre-pandemic
Interviewer - hoodie w/ sweatpants
White dress shirt, no tie, shorts.
During my zoom interview, I wore a blouse and suit jacket up top with leggings down below. The people interviewing me were very casually dressed. But I still think you should appear on zoom just as you would in person (as far as they can see at least!) Good luck!!!

^ This. I would much rather see someone in office professional attire than their casual WFH clothes. For employees at my firm there is essentially no dress code but that’s different than an interview.
I wear a dressy, light sweater and keep a suit coat handy. I join the meeting with my camera off, see what the interviewer is wearing, and make a split second call based on that. Either the suit coat goes on and then the camera, or I toss it across the room and then turn on my camera.
wear whatever one would wear for an in person interview
I treat Zoom interviews, and other appearances, as I would if I were in person. Even if it turns out you won’t be turning your camera on (like in my interview today), it at least gets you in the mindset.
You dress like you would at an in person interview.
Suit
Interview - as if I were in the room
Court - dress pants and blazer
Depo - jeans and blazer
As an interviewee, I wore a work dress, blazer, and fuzzy socks. As an interviewer, whatever makes me look less like a sleep deprived mess.
I wore a navy blue suit to my last virtual interview. Received and accepted their offer. Aside from what I wear, I believe confidence is always the most important factor.
Blouse and a blazer, or dress and a blazer!
