Is it ok if company says thet joining bonus will be given after completing 3 months???

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. Two people do the same job but one is paid more or given a larger bonus “because they have kids and you live alone” or “because their family is struggling”. Working on a regular desk and my laptop has been killing my back and neck for last few years. Finally spent a couple hundred dollars on a standing desk, wireless keyboard, and back/neck heating pad to alleviate the pain. Very hopeful working will be much better now.

I started my new job completely remotely in June and when we go back to the office, it would be a 1.2 hour, 40-mile one way commute.. Would it be entitled of me to ask to come into the office 3x/week since by the time that we return to the office, I’ve already proven that I can work efficiently from home? I feel like it’s a much more sustainable option.

Can someone explain how billable hours work? At a new agency and although I had to fill timesheets at my previous agencies, they were mainly used to ensure we weren’t over servicing a client/for setting the appropriate retainer for contract renewals. I asked ppl at my agency but haven’t gotten a proper explanation. I get the impression that billing to the agency admin code isn’t recommended, and my manager said he bills everything to client codes, but that doesn’t make sense to me .
