If I work remote in a different state than our HQ but still want to get out in the market locally, how would you suggest I go about it. There is not much here in terms of M&A activity (no local ACG chapter or other M&A group) but there are some PE firms I wouldn’t mind getting in front of. Do I just send them an email and invite to lunch or what? Sorry for the amateur post but genuinely curious.

I'm a software engineer, and I've been working remotely for my entire career. I love the flexibility and autonomy that remote work gives me, but there have definitely been times when it's been hard to feel like I'm on an even playing field with my colleagues in the office.

I received an offer (28 Lakhs + 3.9 Lakhs incentive) from Novartis for Sr Project Manager yesterday. This was just 13.6% more than my current earnings as Project Manager. I've given the reasons why I deserve at least 30% to HR. In response to that, HR has sent 2nd offer i.e. 29 Lakhs + 4 Lakhs incentive + 50k sign-on bonus. The 2nd offer is just 18.2% higher than my current earnings. Need your suggestion, if I could still negotiate with HR to finalize deal by asking for 25% hike?
