If titles matter to you, FAANG probably isn’t where you want to go. But if it’s just comp, it’ll very likely beat out your current TC
Possible—I know AE’s at Salesforce making near that range in HCOL cities. 50/50 base/commissions
Years of relevant experience will be considered (not just current comp)

M2+ at Meta is where I would target. (M1 could work too in the right org) You will want to make sure you have the right YOE and that your resume shows the impact of your work- not just your accomplishments. I’m a D1 at Meta. I pay my M1 and M2 non tech staff more than 250k total comp. Just remember titles in FAANG don’t always line up with the private sector but comp will almost always be better.

Thanks! I came from consulting which also doesn’t line up so titles aren’t super important to me - comp and scope of work is.

Very helpful thank you!
You think if you put you’re a BD director at Amex someone would discover who you are?

Possibly! I work with a lot of former consultants and tech folks who are on this app. It’s a common convention here for a reason.
You don't even have to go to FAANG you can go to most up and coming software companies and bring in more than that. Yes, it depends on YOE I would say 7+ but if you've got that, you're solid.
