If it took me 10 months to find a job, by that logic, should I start job searching now 2 months into a 1 year contract job? I can’t say whether or not it’ll convert for sure…but there’s a somewhat decent chance and benefits would sure be nice. I have a good title and company on my resume now, too.

I got an offer at Meta as a 3-mo contingent CSM that pays 2x what I make now.

Two pros: 1) Making the jump from a non-tech agency role to FAANG can be tough, so this is a great oppo in that aspect.
2) I'm living in SF on a non-tech salary, so the pay increase would be incredible.

It’s possible I could move into a similar role @ Meta once this expires, but to be safe, I'd need to start the job hunt again asap.
