If you could do it all over again, would you still become a physician?

Yes, definitely!! I became a physician for two key reasons: I loved biology and have always wanted to help people. I’m living my dream.

I would not want to become a physician because you have to take a lot math classes and you have to complete a lot of training in order to receive your doctor Degree.

Has anyone switched labs for better lab quality/embryologist experience? Wondering if there is a significant difference between labs. We got poor results at our current clinic and, happens that our clinic is rated lower on SART website. Wondering if the lab quality is the reason or if the clinic handles complicated cases that lead to lower outcomes. Overall, unsure if we should switch clinics or just try again at the current one. Thanks.

How do you respond to a super close friend who says they're not making masks mandatory at their June wedding (about 150 guests) because they want to have fun. To be fair, most people are vaccinated but not everyone os going to be vaccinated. I haven't been to any large gatherings in pver a year and even though im vaccinated, i don't think this is safe. Are people are generally careful? I dont think so... am i overthinking this?

Summer intern at BCG. I've been told by a few people that you need to spend your first few cases "earning your stripes" to gain staffing optionality or be servile/loyal to a pyramid to gain access to the cooler case work within that PA. It's seemed particularly emphasized at times.

Is this the standard at McK? I'm trying to guage the staffing optionality and openness of McKinsey culture to direct your random walk.

Hey everyone, I’m looking to sublease my 1bed/1b at 808 S Michigan Avenue (Sentral Building). Rent is $2,440/month and the lease runs to 2/1. Offering August + September free.

40th floor, faces north, and overlooks Millennium Park, Willis Tower, and is across the street from Grant Park. Next to Lollapalooza in the summer and food, arts, and music festivals throughout the year. Trader Joe’s is a 5 minute walk, and the nearest Train/Subway stations are just 10 min by walking.

Pic is your view!
