I have a possible opportunity at Protiviti. Coming from big4 and wondering if Protiviti has fairly similar perks. I’ve read the 2022 benefits guide and it gave a oddly low PTO count of 16 days. Is this true and what about a holiday disconnect in the December time period? Are there any other hidden perks that are awesome? Already heard WLB is better and the culture, but I feel like I’ve gotta find that out first hand. Protiviti

When is the good time to tell the company that I am 3 months pregnant. My date of joining is 18th of July. I understand by law I need to finish 80days with the company before I avail maternity benefits which I can easily do in next 3 months.
I want to understand if women who go on maternity leave during probation are treated differently or if there will be discrimination once I let them know about my situation. Wipro Accenture Allstate Quantiphi analytics pvt ltd.

I've had three distinct careers in my worklife, and all three required a college degree to get in the door. None of them actually required the knowledge learned during my college years. That's different when you venture into the health, science, math, physics career path. A liberal arts degree makes you a well-rounded, well-educated individual but you don't need to know the importance of the year 1066 or the intricate psychological implications in Shakespeare's tragedies to sell stuff. However, you may never get the chance to excel in your chosen profession if you don't have that piece of paper proving you had the stick-to-itiveness to complete a course of studies from a certified university.
I wouldn’t go to college at all if I had it all to do over again. That isn’t a college is a scam remark, I just really wasn’t sure what I was doing and ended up making a lot of poor choices. If you are going to go, make sure you have a plan and the cost makes sense for what you will do afterwards.
It’s not worth it in terms of my job…but I have a significant amount of skills and knowledge I would not have gained otherwise, even if no one will hire me for those skills.
