I pretty much solely use it for looking for work. Every time I log on, I'm reminded why I'm on it so infrequently. It's a bunch of obnoxious self-congratulating that I don't care to read.
I wanted to use it for networking and learning about other careers and honestly Glassdoor is better than having to hear 12 different career coaches say contridicting "advice"
I’m not really using LinkedIn a ton right now, but do like to keep it up to date and making more of a point to build a network on there. Anytime I meet someone professionally I’ll try to follow up on there. I’ve had mixed results when it actually comes to looking for a job there.
I'm gonna be honest OP I have never been a fan of Linked in. I hardly ever use it and when I apply for jobs on there I feel like there is already hundreds of people applying for the same job. So I never really keep up with it. I am sure there is a better way I could be using it but I am just not.
Not often enough!

Absolutely! I keep it updated like a professional diary—add new skills, and network. Even when not job hunting, it’s like keeping your résumé in shape—just in case opportunity knocks!
