If you’re entering big tech from school but was in finance beforehand, can you use your previous salary to anchor high? Not sure if that seems bad bc they’re totally different industries

180 base, 50 bonus, plus 50-75k profit sharing and 50k equity a year.

I am a clinical research coordinator working in Austin, Texas. I have my Masters in Cell & Molecular Biology and have a year of laboratory research experience.

I’ve been in my position for 5 months now. I make $27 hourly which amounts to about $51,000 yearly. Am I being under paid? Are all coordinator positions hourly? As a laboratory researcher I was salary :(

My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. Hey fishes, recently got an offer of 245k plus a bonus, but no specificity and at least 3% cost of living annual raise. My current job I make 150k plus a 20% bonus and an annual cost of living raise anywhere from 2-3.5%. Have been in my current position about a year. Things have been a bit bumpy (not a me issue) I have a new supervisor and was recently given 7 direct reports (I had zero before). The new position while comes with a significant raise is a move to California. Any thoughts?
