PwC 🐠, I interviewed with the firm about 6 months ago for a Senior Associate position on the forensics team. I wasn’t extended an offer because the position was given to an internal transfer, at least what I was told. I tried reaching out to the recruiter I worked with last time but the email bounced back and wouldn’t be delivered. I was hoping to see / reapply if the group still was looking for seniors.
In your opinion, would it be best to reapply as a cold application?

You don’t have to mention specifics and do it to your benefit. Mention that you are interviewing. If they give you an offer and it is less than another offer, mention it and see if they can match or exceed.
However, weigh your options. If the work and culture are better and the offer is reasonable but less than another place then don’t be greedy.
Great work and real world connections will get you further and more money in the long run.
Not unless you see a clear way to use the leverage to your advantage, and are willing to accept the risk. If you've received an offer from one, you could let the other know that you're entertaining an offer and need to make a decision.
I wouldn't play that card until at least one has made an offer. If they've both made offers, you could let each know that you're entertaining other offers...but that one's a bit riskier.
Personally, I'd just try to negotiate hard with both, without telling them about each other, and then take the best total package. I wouldn't try pitting them against each other unless I was willing to walk away from both.
Telling 2 companies about each other was really beneficial to me. Both companies were on the west coast and I was in the Midwest, so I coordinated the travel for both onsite interviews to be a day apart. Both companies told me I was receiving an offer within 24 hours of my interviews and I was able to use that to my advantage when it came to compensation. I got really lucky that the interview timing worked out so well, but I'd definitely advocate for telling them about each other
