I’m a business analyst in financial services with 1 yr of BA experience and 3 years of overall experience. I’m looking to start applying/ transition to a new company (preferably in tech) spring 2022. BA roles and qualifications really vary across companies. Any recommendations on certain skills that a young BA should definitely have for a competitive resume? Hey guys! I’m looking to shift careers. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for 7 years now. Before that I’ve worked in an office, retail, banking, sales and was a correctional officer. I have a BA in criminal justice that I have yet to use. I really want an office job that pays well, but I’ve had no luck finding someone to hire me, actually even getting an interview most likely due to lack of experience. I’m open to options or if anyone knows a company that’s hiring that would be great!

All else equal, is it easier to become direct admit PP rather than promoted to that role from SM or MD? Seems less obstacles. Thoughts?

I’ve been with my current company for a little over 5 years now and since the start of the pandemic have been WFH. I absolutely love WFH and have always wanted a position in which I could WFH.
