I’m a Programmer Analyst working in Honduras. I graduated 6 months ago and this is my first job with a contract. I earn 15,000 Lempiras per month, but I handle many tasks: Backend, Frontend, Databases (SQL Server, tables, stored procedures, views), Analysis, and Mockups. I received an offer for a role that is a lot more money than I thought but I still want to negotiate and see how much more money I can get. What can I say if the salary is already above average for the role in the market and city I live in?

I finally got a raise (after 10 years) from 45k to 50k with less than 10k in incentives while others who are just starting at lower positions make more than me..I want to bring this up but don’t want to come off in a bad way considering they finally gave me a raise this year.
