I want to know how the top MBA colleges look at family business as work experience? Will that reduce my chances of getting into an MBA school?

Did the MBA to break into consulting, and I did but wondering if I would’ve been able to get in with MBB through traditional channels had I done M7. Does an MBA (US) make sense for me? Male, Indian, Age 32, Married working in tech consulting with 10 YOE. Base is $165 with steady increases and bonus is typically 15%. I eventually do want to cross the $300K threshold but I know stopping work for 2 years and getting and MBA probably won’t get me a $300K job right away. Becoming a manger in my current company/path will probably get me there in terms of TC. Also considering EMBA from a good school (Wharton Global, Duke, Kellogg, Booth).

recently asked a question about going to law school with an accounting degree. follow up on that- if i work 1-2 years at my current firm (offered 72,500 full time after graduating undergrad) and acquire my cpa (courses and exam fees paid for by the firm), then apply to law school, would that be more beneficial? ive been reading a lot that work experience helps with the application, alongside having a high gpa and LSAT score

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. My boss (atty) is so disorganized! I’ve been with him 6 months and he’s having a hard time delegating, sharing info and managing deadlines. I’ve organized the caseload to manage the deadlines. He says he wants me to help with discovery but when I offer to start on one, he says he needs to do it. (Since he might have to present as evidence) When I give him deadlines and ask for the docs he says he’ll get to it. It’s a small 1 man firm, and I’m the first assistant besides his wife. Any advice?
