You should start applying right away, because it gives you two advantages..
1. If you get early offer - peace of mind..
2. Explore better opportunities w.r.t to numbers
You can apply in analytics roles initially ( good stable startups (like My Sigma) , later move to big firms in consulting roles purely)
Do companies wait this long for someone to join? I won't be able to start working full time before June
It depends on how you convince the HR..! For example, you can,...
1. use the logic of 3 month notice period that's common in the market.
2. Join early - ie the next day after final exam and you'll submit the docs in June..
Depending on case to case basis.
Thank you!
