I have been working in the construction industry for 2 years under a general contractor. I am wanting to get into consulting and my ideal role would be something like an Associate in Major Projects Advisory with KPMG. I’m curious to know which firms/companies have positions and departments like the one mentioned that I could apply for?
So I've had 2 hiring managers and several recruiters from Amazon reach out to me about applying for some open positions with the company (android). I completed the coding assessment and now they want me to go through a round of 5 hour interviews next week. Is there a good chance I'll be hired if engineering managers are reaching out to me? I'm really not sure how badly I want to work for them and I don't want to be laid off months after being hired on. Anyone know what Amazon hiring is like?
Anyone from ND office here??

I vote you keep this information to yourself because letting companies know you're pregnant before they hire you will make it nearly impossible for you to find a job
They do not need to know until it's time to arrange coverage.
Absolutely not. Keep it to yourself until you can’t. Get the job, and look after yourself and your family.
Hide it
Don’t disclose. Would they be pissed? Idk, depends on the place and how strapped they are. Sounds like you work in house so probably not as bad. Just make sure you don’t need to work a whole year before you get paid leave.
Think about it this way- you might not tell your coworkers or anyone outside your inner circle until month 5 when you get the week 20 results (I personally didn’t want to jinx anything), so you certainly don’t owe that type of personal info to a potential employer.
Yes to all of the above! It’s your business and yours alone for now.
