I’m basically alone on a super boring project (PMO and audit evidences collection/review/documentation). I’m single, WFH, in a new city and I don’t have any colleagues that work with me on this engagement. Im.. alone
It gets so lonely and it’s hard to stay motivated. I can’t be pulled out before November.

My ECD keeps changing our work before it goes to client and it's cost us making good work. Our books are suffering because he can't get his hands off the tools. Our books are only full of spec now.

What are some good practices during the sales phase of a potential project to execute before the contract is signed? Seems obvious but would love some ideas on standard operating procedures that help with seamlessly handing over a signed contract to the account team. For example, speaking to the potential client explicitly about their role in staying on schedule, reviewing scope creep consequences, etc.
