I'm brand new to consulting and the data science space. After over a year of self-study I landed a role as a data analyst and just under 3 weeks in I feel like I totally suck at this and wonder how I got hired. Major imposter syndrome vibes.

So my question is, has anyone else been in a similar situation where they made the switch into a tech field and felt some major imposter syndrome initially and what were some things you did to combat that feeling?

Hi, where or what types of companies should sophomores & juniors apply for next summer (2022) to recruit for IB the following summer (2023)? This summer BBs wrapped up SA IB recruitment, EBs even earlier, and a fair amount of my friends missed out big time.

Also, if a sophomore or junior doesn’t get a finance-related summer internship (I.e tech) and aims for an IB SA or FT position, is it harder to break in?

I got an offer at Nokia, and my new manager said that she wanted to put me in the higher salary bracket however the HR insisted that we lowered the range. That caused me to receive a much lower salary than expected. Should I renegotiate even when my manager said that she tried giving me more. Does HR really play that big of a role in this?
