Rising Star
On prem usually means one thing: legacy systems. If you want to work on archaic architecture, programming languages for mainframes, end-of-life systems, then go for it.

Once again, it true. Dropbox runs their own infra and it’s top notch. Apple is probably bad but it’s not going to be archaic shit lol.
Plus they’ve been in business of shopping binaries, it’s okay that they don’t have infra setup like amazon or google whose business have been web-based from the get go.
Apple has a great culture for on-prem work but their remote culture leaves something to be desired. If you live in California or Austin, it’s going to be a great experience for the connections alone but do not expect to start at Apple and learn a bunch of new tech or work remote. They have remote work but it’s very limited.
Could be, they have satellite offices all over but the main offices are in Elk Grove and Austin. DM me and Ill tell you more.
Apple is not cutting edge in terms of cloud technology. It’s really a marketing company for hardware manufactured in China. Not surprised they still have on prem problems. Have fun with that
