I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

Honestly just curious, why? I’m American, always wondering why people want to come here right now when the country seems so messed up.
Lol Optum Scotty didn't do a great job with the vaccines but we got vaccinated which is what matters. Don't get me started on decent healthcare :P
That being said yes its a good time in my life to explore more and take more risks.

Work for a company with US offices. E-3 visa is absurdly easy to obtain.
Fair warning G1 I'll keep that in mind.
CS1 yeah that's why I'm looking at Houston specifically.
Choose San Diego. That's my advice. As a native San Diegan.
Absolutely impartial for sure, haha.
My husband is an engineer who moved from Australia to SF 6 years ago and it was the best decision for his career. One word of advice is when you do start to look for jobs, use your network to refer you into companies. When he was applying online, they always asked if he needed a visa, and he would get removed automatically. Most companies just assume it's an H1-B, and they don't realize that an E-3 visa is an easy process. He landed at a great company, but he only got in through a referral.
Thanks! That's really helpful advice. 😊 I had a similar experience with a lot of British companies not resizing that I could easily get a T5 visa (similar to E-3). Some companies listened and took that into account but it was rare. End of the day I got a job there that sponsored me for a T2 anyway... though those are easier than an H1-B.
Will definitely start to work my network a best I can.
just be ready for the weird differences. for example, our USBs get inserted in the opposite direction up in this hemisphere.
