Feeling unsettled. Joining a BL firm for the first time after practicing for about 3 years as a non traditional (in my 30s). While it’s the best opportunity of my career and I am making the jump bc I am already billing the hours and want the training of working on sophisticated deals, hoping I will be able to do the work, live up to expectations, get along with the people, not have to jump again in a short time, and a host of other feelings. Really struggling with a few students in my kindergarten class this year and looking for suggestions. I've been teaching K for 10 of the 16 years I've been a teacher, and have never felt as disrespected by students as I do this year. Several students continually talk, yell, and laugh over me, or make noises when I am talking. They are sent away from the group to reset and make a better choice, but usually continue when they return. Parent contact has been supportive, but hasn't helped.

After my first interview, the recruiter called me today and said that I should emphasize my project management skills and an ability to own a workstream. I'm currently Junior Managed Operations Analyst @ FIS, with half YOE on this position, and almost a year as Audit Intern @ KPMG. The role involves master data management, process improvements, documentation, participation in data migrations and incident management.
