The company I’m working for has a law firm arm that deals with litigation but I don’t know any of them personally. For context, undergrad in economics (many peers went the law school route) and masters in finance at a large public university. Only 1YOE.

As a law student interested in going into the field I’ve seen a lot of negative comments saying that only lawyers who couldn’t get into big law go into PA. Although I know most people try to get into big law initially, it is very competitive and many don’t stay past 2-3 years. You certainly don’t make as much going into PA as a lawyer but the pay is certainly not bad and the WLB is generally much better.
