I am not good in trading. Earlier had some with motilal oswal, have to check it's status and close as Citi does not permit trading outside I guess.
Since I recently joined Citi, Now I want to learn and do trading inside citi. I really want to master this skill ..
Please guide me on this.

Take the $ and new job. I don't understand why people in the agency world are so worried about being loyal to an agency when agencies are only loyal to their own bottom line.
Wow take it lol- a couple bridges are worth less than 40k
Definitely read this as a medieval and not midlevel 😂
Fucking take it. 40k and a title bump is too big to pass up. Unless your current place can match.
Why did you go talk to the other agency?
I think if your current employer was invested in you then maybe. But good for you taking ownership of your career to get to the level you want to be at, no one is going to do it for you. I think it's also a double standard when you are young in your career and make those moves. C-level people do that stuff all the time and you never hear them asking if it's too soon. Look at that lady that bounced from havas in 2mths.
Big pay jump? Relationships are important in this business but so is money.
Do you want it? Yes - go. No? Don't.
^^^ bingo
Debatable. If you're comfortable burning all of those bridges, go for it. Life is short, look out for yourself-everyone is expendable
@creativedirector1 they reached out too me and I didn't believe I would be offered a role but opted to meet ppl and build connections there for the future but became a job offer sooner than expected
Lol 40k sounds delicious, but if you've only been there for less than a year... might be worth holding off until 1-2 year mark and get a better director level position? Do what you feel is right... don't let the 7 month figure be the only reason. Just know more responsibility doesn't make the job any different, it just makes the puzzles harder to solve ;).
40k bump is a no brainer- just do it
Keep this in mind: Sometimes, agencies offer bigger salaries because they know the job is a revolving door. If the job doesn't turn out to be as great as you thought it would be, you'll have a hard time going back to where you were or taking a pay cut after getting used to your new lifestyle.
@cossette - fair questions. I didn't think I would get it because I've only been in the industry for 1.5 years. Sure I have a masters degree and find myself qualified based on various attributes it just shocked me to move junior mid to senior in less than 2yrs
I feel like you'd have to be employee of the century to get a 40k counter offer
comparable agency?
@creativedirector2 the pay increase is 40k. I love my current team but I want to take on more projects/responsibility...just not sure if I'll be burning bridges leaving so soon
Dash of politics for good measure.
Take the role if you'd be proud to post it on your resume. Alternatively, ask for a counter.
