Overall, I feel like it’s getting better.

Would like to piggyback thread. What's the best way to break into acquisitions? Currently in valuation/appraisal, and have about 6 years of experience between consulting in real estate tax and appraisal. My comp is around 110k, and not looking to take a pay cut. I'm definitely a in your face people person with enough knowledge about cre to be a little dangerous.
sorry not sure how to answer since i doubt he nor i had to transition within RE. You most likely have majority of the technical skills and understand the industry - brush up on waterfall modelling, network and apply to be honest. Having strong understanding of RE tax comes in handy especially when valuating new opportunities. (Definitely didnt have this going in)
Thanks dude, I appreciate that. Thats an approach that makes sense to me.
