I’m debating between a Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) and Prosci. Or both? Any guidance? I’m currently getting a Change Management Cert from eCornell. So I’ll get a lot of credits for CCMP.

In order to get a CCMP you would need a certification like Prosci from one of the approved education providers.

CCMP is a professional designation, not a certification.

SM1 - what are alternatives to Prosci that are credible? Just starting my research and appreciate your perspective.

Update. The eCornell change management was not very good. The leadership courses were much better. I feel like I blew $2800.

like

Prosci is more prescriptive approach with tools and templates. I went that route as I super experienced and had to leave my favorite tools and templates behind at my ex-Big 4. I did enjoy the training, more expensive. ACMP I think you need to prove with combo training, experience and test based on their standard. Seems more like PMI’s PMP approach.

Curious to know about the credits from eCornell. I thought prosci was almost an unsaid prerequisite for ccmp. Is that not the case? If not, you mind sharing what are the other requirements for ccmp? Thank you!
