Does your organization use Workday. What Recruiting s/w are you using? Have you thought about becoming a SME for the application?
Thank you! I’ll look into that, it’s not Workday and it’s a little wonky but a great thought
I know chewy and Lockheed are really good on the recruiting side if you want to stick to big companies. I’d say amazon but try to stick to corporate recruiting if you try with them!
Good luck! If you have anymore questions don’t hesitate to DM or add on on here!
If you can stick it out and move into a TA management role, you'd probably enjoy a slightly better WLB while also making a lot more money. If you climb high enough, you could easily be making upwards of $200k.
I definitely am looking in the direction of moving into a management role, I just don’t think it will happen at my current company because of my current manager.
Dude, recruiting is one of the biggest grinds ever...totally know how you feel. It's even more exhausting than sales. You can make the best connection with a human and they can change their mind. I'd say switch up the industry if you want less stress.
I want to switch, I just don’t know where my experience in recruiting can lead me to. Everything suggested for me on linked in has to do with recruiting. 😭
I’d really like to do some diversity and inclusion work, but don’t want to sacrifice the pay. Any suggestions would be helpful
DEI work is definitely cool but harder to find. I quite like the benefits stuff and am thinking of moving into that space. It's more admin-y really, so I feel like it's less pressure than recruiting in some ways
Recruiting is a hoot!! 76k ain't enough for what you do though, I'll tell you that. That's your base then right?
We don’t get commission, so I’m doing 60 hour weeks for 76k. I’ve been with the company for a little under a year so I’m not sure what the yearly bonus is, if there is one, and what salary increases look like. But with how my manager is set up I probably will only see pennies.
