Ok be honest, candidates. I really love this set of questions, I’ve been considering shifting my current interview style to these questions - I think they really give you an idea of who this person would be within the work setting. But the questions almost feel too deep for a recruiter to ask. What would you think if a recruiter took a different path and asked these questions instead of the usual ones?

How much does it cost for the updates? Personally, I'd probably just wing it with the older stuff and see if you can research online to see exactly what (if anything) has changed. I'd venture a guess that the vast majority of the materials is still valid and perfectly fine to help you prepare, but I'll let others weigh in with their thoughts.
I have the 2020 books too, set to take the exam in December. So wondering this too.
I think I am going to donsome more research to see what was added to the new test. Good luck to anyone taking it in November
How long have you guys been studying? going to submit my early bird application today but not sure how much time is adequate to study all of the materials
If the 2020 version is still good, you can still use it. If there are any other addition/updates, I think you can just supplement those.
You should be able to call SHRM and ask them directly. I've had luck with them being honest and up-front. Most of the time they'll tell you whats most beneficial for you and/or what major changes have been made.
