With a year or two under your belt, you begin to know what is necessary and what is not. You have to think of what is physically needed in your room... the rest of it can go. Purge faster. When you have more physical space in the room for students to move around and/or create spaces of collaboration then they win. I learned in my first two or three years teaching that no one cares about my "cute" posters or a fancy rug. Space for collaboration and creativity is the move. Good luck!
If you know whether or not you're staying in your room start putting things in bins to store! Idk if your school let's you keep things but my old school used to let us store stuff in the lockers
