You should not fly. Pray for your loved one that you lost. They would likely understand.
I canceled my wedding and my grandma is dying in a hospital. I’m not leaving my house. Unprecedented times bud.
You should concerned that you’re spreading the virus to your family or contracting the virus from them at the funeral.
You should be staying home.
Could you drive??
OP, I live in DFW and they shut down Dallas basically - just FYI.
You flew and potentially spread it around to all in attendance at the funeral? 😩
I am sorry for your loss. I think many or most funeral homes are allowing only graveside services and immediate family only. I would check the polices for your loved one’s funeral. Many places livestream the service, that would be the safer option.
She has Alzheimer’s and Diabetes so it’s not worth the risk 😕
Sorry for your loss but STAY HOME
No one should be flying right now.
Flight and funeral/viewing have been cancelled. We’ll organize something once it’s safe. ❤️ Don’t worry fellow 🐠🐠!!
Your grandma can’t see you anyway. Stay home, be the solution not the problem.
I’m very sorry for your loss and that you will not have the chance to grieve with your family, which can be so cathartic.
Plan a memorial for September.
FWIW, I had to take a flight out of DFW this morning. I’d say airport is at about 20% of normal volume in terms of passengers. I did notice that people are doing a good job of keeping their distance from others, etc.
Drove by a cemetery this morning and saw a funeral. At least 100 people close together, hugging and everything. 😳
