I’m going cut to the chase. Been on this current project for almost 2 weeks it ends some time this week. I’ve seen some attractive people at this client site. Would it be weird to shoot the shot? Not trying to flirt or anything just trying to get to know some of these people. For specifics I am a guy (24) interested in women.

Got braids. You'd think I literally got a face transplant from how shook my coworkers are. I would say over 10 people have stopped me to ask about them or comment on them and I've been at work for maybe 2 1/2 hours. It's all been positive, but am I wrong for still finding it annoying? They don't lose their minds when Sarah gets bangs or whatever so I wish they could keep that same energy.

I have a partner who routinely ignores emails or responds to them several weeks later. He has to approve every single document sent to the client or the court, which means you have a physically go to his office to ask him to review something. Half of the time you go to meet with him in person, he’s either on a call or otherwise busy. I find that this basically creates more work and makes meeting deadlines extremely difficult. Is this normal?

Now I'm in a client location, My manager is a good person but he told me, I should report to Lead.

Lead is a psycho. He shows hell to the team members including me.
What should I do ?

I thought that too of some of the middle eastern and Caribbean island managers I worked with on a job once, but they turned out to be the most supportive and inquisitive. But I feel ya, sometimes you can sense if they'll be hostile toward you. But I don't give af at this point. In the end, they're still professionals working for Big 4 and probably won't dare say anything to you about it, even if it does bother them. Way I see it, ignorant people like that don't go very far working in our industry.

So I have been seeing a guy for 4 months. We have a pay disparity.. he earns less than I do (by quite a bit). He has mentioned a few times that he’s worried I’ll get bored of him when I know he can’t afford the same things I can. I think we are beginning to move past this, but now he’s starting to mention things like ‘I am really broke this month’, and last weekend he told me his mum has lost her job and he’ll have to probably pay her rent. I have a lot of sympathy for his situation … tbc

I was on a tour but where I asked a couple of older women sitting behind me to speak softly as it was 6:30 am in the morning. After that they kept saying loudly that i’m smelling and that i need to use deo and that i should keep my arm down. I confronted them later and they said respect your elders?? You have to do so much of it, and it's so annoying. You have to cite your sources, but there are so many different formats for citations! And then sometimes you don't even know how to cite something, and how are you supposed to know that unless you ask someone who knows? And even then, they might not be sure whether it should be an in-text citation or a footnote…
