I’m Graduating this year and got an offer from CapTech. What does career growth look like at a boutique firm like this? How does it compare to larger firms? Also, it easy to get offer from larger firms after working at a boutique firm?

Captech is a highly respected and very well known for analytics consulting. If you want to leave for a larger firm, the name won’t be an issue. It’s not exactly a boutique.

What city ?

1000+ person data consulting firm

CapTech is a good firm and I echo what VP1 has been saying here.

Worked for CapTech for 3 years out of undergrad across 2 offices. Salaries were on par with my friends who went to Big 4 firms.

Typical in-firm promotional path is 2 years to go from Consultant->Senior consultant.

Anecdotally, I have friends from my time at the firm who made the jump to MBB after spending 2 years at CapTech. They usually entered MBB at the level other college graduates would though. (Maybe a few years ahead still).
