What is happening with #1 and #3 should not impact your request for a raise. It should only be based on your performance and not theirs.
I also wouldn't be too worried about #1 leaving, the current job market is terrible and even VERY qualified candidates are taking months to find new jobs.
I’m afraid #1 will leave and I’m stuck with a 3 persons job and we wouldn’t be able to find a good person. Plus, I’d have to train on something I don’t fully understand since we segregated duties. Sigh. Time to start understanding it now - I guess!
Lol, you're definitely #1 in your company's eyes...
Lol I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic- but honestly think I’m #1 in their eyes as far as attitude goes. I get things done. But, I’ve had to take medical leave and haven’t been there as much as #1.

Nah it’s almost always better to leave. New opportunities present the best raises.

Yea, if you want to stay, then you have to sacrifice money, unfortunately. Your current company will likely not give you a significant raise. But also, there are plenty of companies out there that give you just as good benefits, if not, better and pay more. You just have to look for them.
Not a guarantee but If #1 has asked before and now you ask, they might take it into consideration for a salary bump for everyone.
That’s a good thought. I never saw it that way. Hmm…
