It tracks that Edelman 1 thinks they have the inside scoop about Weber given that we’ve taken in all of the Edelman refugees.
Oh… you misunderstood ACD. Absolutely no one thinks that is a flex.
Isn’t Jordan Rittenberry over there? Man—that guy? Super clutch.
Sorry what does clutch mean?
I’ve never worked there but I’ve worked closely with four or five members of the leadership team at various points in my career and the are all solid people.
I’d be very wary of taking on a role at an IPG or Omnicom co right now. I’m actually surprised they are hiring.
What kind of role? Vibe likely depends on type of role but yes lots of anxiety around the acquisition
No one knows what the consequences of the acquisition will be - so proceed business as usual until or unless events intervene to disrupt the interview process. I wouldn’t accept an offer before the acquisition since it’s days/weeks away. But if you’re in early conversations there’s no harm in exploring. As for life at WS in an Omnicom world… who knows?
This is essentially how I’m proceeding. They don’t appear to be in a big rush and neither am I. Thanks!
I would be very careful. From what I hear, likely that there will be big changes over there once the merger closes sometime this month. Definitely follow thru with the interview process and hopefully the changes there will happen before you have to decide (if you in fact get an offer).
From what I hear, it’s still a strong name. Definitely leadership turnover, but that is a given during any restructure. You coming in now would probably be a safe bet as the dust settles.
