I will be completing my Part 1 in architecture but also have a degree in Technology, should I find a different company after graduation or take roles offering £30-45k as an Architectural Technologist/Technician.

How much you guys make with 2 yoe in fed consulting. Just got promoted and now making 91k. Is that low or high for the fed space?

Debating between two offers, $105k at Deloitte or $120k at Guidehouse. Is GH worth the extra $$$ or should I go with the brand recognition of D? Both offers have already gone through negotiations.

I currently have my EAD based on my OPT with an addition 2 year renewal. I have also submitted a marriage based GC application in Nov 2021, did my biometrics currently waiting on my interview. Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Should I start saying this for the purposes of providing comfort only??

At what point do you begin to feel numb (if ever) when you’re done trial and prepping for another trial in a span of 3 months, while mains full caseload of other active litigation cases? Should I be worried that I’m going from engaged and stress to numb and slightly indifferent? Or is this what it feels like to power through? I can’t gauge it anymore? Tax Question:

I lived in VA for 8 months of 2019 and then moved to DC for the last 4 months. I got a federal and state refund from VA, but now owe DC “state” taxes because apparently they were not taken out of my paycheck. However, I changed my address in my firm’s system right when I moved... is this an issue on my firm’s part or did I screw something up?
