I’m making 80k-90k as 2 yrs associate in PwC but recruiters contacting over LinkedIn (2 different roles in same big company, that’s growing fast) are offering $135k base AND $140k base plus $10k-$25k equity. I was wondering if PwC is planning on any raise at all? I’m aware that even with a possible raise and promotion to SA (none are happening but still), I’d never get close to $160k, but just curious if we’re getting any raise at all (amid inflation)

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients).
