Better to be in sale, burnt out and making money vs. being in sales, burnt out and making no money 🙃
You would probably find something with a lot less stress and more humane hours. But you probably wouldn't be making the same money. That's the thing, the reason you're well compensated is because you're willing to take the punishment other people won't. But if the stress is finally getting to you, put out some feelers and look around and see what else you can find.

Same here. I left SaaS for a smaller company with lower pressure and more realistic goals—still solid pay.
Start your own business.. tough in the beginning but rewarding once you get up and running.. why not sell for yourself? I replaced my income in 18 months and answer to my customers and myself..
Yeah. If you can be lucky enough to get a DOD territory for pretty much any product that Oracle sells. You'll be in order taker at that point. The only work you'll have to do is keeping up on activities to make it look like you had a direct impact in any of your sales coming in.
